Welcome to Kobushi Judo Club

Thank you for deciding to visit our redesigned internet site. We hope that this site will give you the opportunity to keep up to date with our club and its activities.

We are pleased to announce the addition of another new section, the Sensei's Award. We are continuing to developing this site and hope to be able to bring you additional pages and information in due course. If you are not familiar with our club and your first contact with us is on-line: we would be pleased to hear from you. Please let us know what your needs and questions are, and we will be more than happy to try and help.

In brief, you should know the following about us: this judo club has been in existence in the Warmley area for a number of years. This club is affiliated to the British Judo Council and is a member of the Avon Area. We have been responsible for providing instruction in judo at all levels, and pride ourselves on being a friendly and local club that is open to everyone.

We currently meet on Friday evenings. Training sessions take place in our dojo in the Gym in the Sports Centre at The Grange School & Sports College in Warmley.

Club sessions run between 7.15pm and 8.30 for Primaries, Juniors and Seniors, and for an additional hour between 8.30pm and 9.30pm for invited older Juniors and Seniors.

New members and guests are always welcome.

Kobushi Judo Club and all of its coaches and instructors are fully committed to safeguarding the well-being of all its members, particularly children. Instructors and volunteers will, endeavour to, at all times, show respect and understanding for the rights, safety and welfare of others and will conduct themselves in a way which reflects the principles of the British Judo Council.
