The Judoka (Judo Player) of the Month Award is presented to the player who it is felt by the Club Instructors to have progressed and developed in line with the essence and principles of Judo.

The winner of this award, which is presented on a monthly basis, need not be the person who has won the most fights, attended the most training sessions or attained the highest grade. It is the Judoka who has continued to work at areas of difficulty, overcome a specific fear or has shown themselves to be a Judoka that behaves in the true spirit of Judo both on and off of the mat.
