There is a South West Regional Grading taking place on Sunday 5th October 2008. The grading is for green belt Juniors and Seniors up to and including 1st Kyu. This event has been organised jointly by Avon Area BJC and Somerset Area BJC.

Hamp Avenue, Bridgewater, Somerset TA6 6AW
The timings are
Juniors Green Belts (under 16) – 10.00 am
Seniors up to 3rd Kyu 11.30 am
Seniors 2nd and 1st Kyu 2.00 pm
The cost for this grading will be
Juniors: £8.00
Seniors: £12.00
The standard BJC Syllabus will be used. Appropriate Kata will need to be performed on the day by successful judoka.
The goal of these areas in holding a regional grading is to ensure that good numbers of judoka of all grades attend from a wide area. This should mean that everyone has a good attempt at grading by fighting equivalent grades. All BJC members of the required grade are eligible to attend and make this event really successful.
